This privacy notice explains how bet-amo.de — an independent information portal covering Betamo — collects, uses and protects personal data about visitors to this site. It concerns this portal only, not the operator's own platform: if you register an account with Betamo directly, the operator's own privacy documentation governs that relationship. This notice is written in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Scope of this notice

This notice applies to every page within the bet-amo.de domain. It covers data we collect through standard web analytics, through any contact form or email you send to us, and through cookies and similar technologies placed by this portal and the third-party services we embed. It does not extend to any data collected by the Betamo operator platform once you follow a link from this site and interact with that service directly.

Categories of information we hold

We collect two broad categories of data. The first is technical data gathered automatically when you visit: your approximate IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time on site, and referral source. This is collected via analytics services and is processed in aggregate form. The second category is data you provide voluntarily, principally when you send an enquiry to [email protected] — your email address and the content of your message.

We do not collect payment card numbers, account credentials, or any sensitive personal data as defined under UK GDPR. We do not ask for your name unless you choose to include it in a message to us.

Lawful basis for processing

We rely on legitimate interests to process technical analytics data — specifically, our interest in understanding how visitors use the portal so we can maintain and improve it. We rely on consent for any non-essential cookies, including marketing and advertising tracking cookies, where consent is collected via the cookie consent banner displayed on your first visit. Where you contact us by email, processing your message is necessary to fulfil the contract implied by your request for a response.

You may withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time by adjusting your browser settings or revisiting the consent banner. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before that point.

Sharing with third parties

We share data with a small number of trusted service providers who process it on our behalf:

  • Analytics providers — to measure page performance and traffic patterns. Data is processed under a data processing agreement and is not used to identify individual visitors.
  • Advertising networks — if you have consented to marketing cookies, activity data may be shared with advertising partners to serve relevant content.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — who store and serve the portal's files. They do not access personal data beyond what is technically necessary.

We do not sell personal data to any third party. We do not share data with the Betamo operator or its parent company, N1 Interactive Ltd, for any purpose.

Your controls under UK GDPR

As a visitor based in the United Kingdom, you hold the following rights in relation to personal data we process about you:

  • Access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — you may ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — you may request deletion of your data where we have no overriding lawful basis to retain it.
  • Restriction — you may ask us to limit how we use your data while a correction or objection is considered.
  • Portability — where processing is based on consent or contract and is carried out by automated means, you may request your data in a portable format.
  • Objection — you may object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within one calendar month. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Retention

Analytics data is retained in aggregate form and not linked to identifiable individuals beyond the standard retention period set by the analytics provider. Email correspondence is retained for up to 24 months from the date of last contact, after which it is deleted. Where a legal obligation requires us to retain data for a longer period, we do so only to the extent required.

Minors

This portal is restricted to persons aged 18 and over (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a minor has submitted personal data to us, we will delete it promptly. Parents and guardians who believe a minor has contacted us should write to [email protected].

Changes to this notice

We may update this privacy notice from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate or in applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the date below. Continued use of the portal after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised notice.
